This Simple Toy Had My Whole Class Hooked👀

This may look like a simple toy…nope—don’t  be fooled 😏

My whole class was completely intrigued by this.

They were so curious about what each button and lever did and how everything worked together—and the best part?

No batteries, no lights, no crazy sounds. Just solid, fun hands-on play.

They especially loved the part where they had to aim the car just right to get it onto the helicopter—there were lots of cheers when someone got it…and even when they didn’t 😂

These full-of-energy-five-year-olds, were fully engaged with it…which says a lot. I’d easily say kids 3 –6 years old would love this.

My students  were actually cheering each other on while they waited their turn, which I loved. It definitely took some patience (I only had one—If you can, I’d probably get at least 2 of these😅), but it turned into such a sweet little lesson in taking turns and encouraging each other.

I added small number stickers to each button/lever to guide the order, and that made such a difference. After that, they were able to stay engaged and even help each other figure it out.

This one was a huge hit in my class. I really, really like it 🤍

It feels durable overall, but I’d still recommend being a little gentle with it—especially in a classroom setting.

Definitely one I’ll be keeping in rotation.👏
